The Story of Shri Babaji’s Organisation

The 70’s:

Shri Babaji is a guruji who preaches on free thinking and preaches on the importance on believing that everyone is but a speck of the divine.

“I like the teachings! He’s so practical!”

“It’s like, he infused science and spirituality together and made it one.”

“A mating of two philosophical & theoretical applications. It’s beautiful!”

“Why didn’t I think like that. I mean, why didn’t we think out of the box? His teachings made me realise that spirituality can be applied in a very easy way in our daily lives! It made me realize so many things can be made simple and yet they turn out to be wonderful!”

A notice board at the centre’s premises read thus:

You are welcomed to work with us in Shri Babaji’s divine mission to promote the unity and love of mankind. We’re a service centre and we’re looking for volunteers to help out in the upcoming service projects we’re organising. Love, the centre members.

“I agree the organisation is still in it’s infancy stages but it has truly served it’s purpose. Though it lacks organisational skills but atleast it’s serving it’s purpose by serving and inspiring the community and society.” and observer observed.

2010 onwards:

Shri Babaji is still a guruji who still preaches on free thinking and  still preaches on the importance on believing that everyone is but a speck of the divine.

“I like their organisation. They’re so organised! Rules and regulations are everywhere, which makes them look really disciplined”

“It’s like, they infused management skills and goal setting together and made it one.”

“A mating of two applications. It’s the best!”

“Why didn’t I think like that? I mean, why didn’t we think out of the box? The organisation made me realise that management skills and goal setting can be applied in a very easy way in my daily life! It made me realise so many things can be made in an organised manner and yet we have to strive for perfection and nothing but perfection!”

The old notice board at the centre premises read thus:

Please join us in Shri Babaji’s divine mission. We need sponsors for our upcoming mega projects in form of donation. Recently certain individuals have been asking to use our centre premises to conduct taekwando classes for the children of the community. The management has passed a decree that ONLY spiritual activities can be held at the centre and that too which are organised by us (the centre). Long Live Shri Babaji!

“I agree the organisation is at it’s peak now and it is truly organised and well managed. But it lacks the same spirit of enthusiasm and the will to serve and inspire as it did years before.” an observer observed.
