I right clicked the folder, clicked on “Play All Files” and Zack de la Rocha’s voice blasted out.
“No matter how hard you try, you can’t stop us now” he sang.
I shifted in my seat, sat back and started Facebooking.
“Right down through the Middle Ages, planet earth kept going through changes” the speakers blasted with drums and guitars.
Yeah, life is getting much better now. I’m starting to feel less depressed and infact ever since i recovered from the fever, i feel much better. It’s like the fever and the flu, took away all the depression away with them.
She received the book i posted to her. The Life Story of Shirdi Sai Baba. I posted it to her last Friday and i’m glad she received it. I hope it helps her to overcome all the shit that she’s going through. But in the end, it all boils down to her. If she has enough faith, things will be fine.
At 2.45 am last night, i sent her an sms telling her I will move on because there’s no longer hope and it’s no point in asking for a second chance for this relationship. She has made up her mind. I have to make up mine too.
“We’re the renegades of funk! We’re the renegades of funk!” Zach de la Rocha screamed.
You know, i feel so much more lighter now. I feel like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulder. I feel like it happened for the good. I guess, it was Swami’s way of teaching me the lesson on attachment.
But i will always cherish the good times we had.
