God and me on the scooter. We rode on a straight path, that seemed never ending. The path was line with fern trees on each side.
We rode silently until I mustered the courage to ask God, who was seated behind me on the scooter, his hands resting on my shoulder.
“Hey God, what do you think about what’s taking place in Gaza right now?”
God remained silent and then finally broke it, “The conflicts you see, the anger, the pain, the misery are but the conflicts within you.”
We rode silently. And then I asked Him again, “Do you cry when we cry?”
God smiled sadly and replied, “All the time..”
