KUALA LUMPUR: In a matter of weeks, the crime rate in Kuala Lumpur drops to it’s all time low. Number of offenses lodged at the police station has dropped severely and the public agrees that the mysterious dark figure is responsible for this positive and encouraging statistic.
In the past two weeks, the mysterious dark figure, who witnesses describe as wearing a black suit with a black mask, has successfully thwarted robberies and rape crimes from taking place around the city.
“I don’t care if he’s wearing a weird costume. Everyone’s eccentric in their own ways. I feel safer to go out, now that I know that someone’s watching me, keeping me safe.” Amanda Lee, a 20-year-old college graduate said.
Police are still in the dark about the identity of the dark figure and although a warrant for an arrest has not been made, police has been placed on high alert for safety reasons. However many police officers thank his courageous act in helping to suppress the crime rate in Kuala Lumpur.
“It’s like, we got an extra pair of hands you know. He does his job. We do our’s. As long as the city’s safe, it’s all good.” Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razlan Barhuddin said on Tuesday during a press conference at the Bukit Aman police headquarters when asked about the mysterious dark figure.
